brothers, looks like team27 has teamed up with my ex-outsourced partner Fional to run this event this week. I think they have dropped the Big and called it SBF. (Possible Legal issues perhaps?)
Background for our new cubs: As MD for Threesixty and President of SCMC since 2005, Threesixty, SCMC and Harley-Davidson of Singapore Pte Ltd, helped to develop and created the SBBF movement in 2006 with a grand event at Clarke Quay which attracted lots of bikers, interest and publicity. The decision to create this event was due to the success of a 2005 HOG event which we organised at Sentosa's KM8. In 2007, I left Threesixty for a career in Banking, and the event went on at Suntec City. SCMC also supported the event, but that led to some brushes with another MC and eventually the unfortunate exit of 4 of our cubs.
Anyways, I did not have a very good experience working with Fional last time around, so i hope our friends in T27 cover their tracks. I will definately pay them a visit this week, but probably drive down.
Its good that the SBBF movement is still alive (regardless of what it is called), lets hope it keeps rolling for years to come and lets be proud that SCMC did play a part in its creation, and sometimes imitation is the best form of flattery :)
