SCMC 5th Anniversary

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Ho! Ho! Ho!

SCMC celebrates its 5th Year Annivesary with an excursion to BATAM! The event kicked off full throttle with almost 100% support from the cubs.
11:30hrs - Off to board the Penguin Express *chug chug*

Touch down and first stop, seafood lunch @ the beach. The food was "nap shot" and Teh Botol is da BOMB! Like gamblers at the Bacarrat table, we squandered millions & millions on our scrumptious glorious food.

Will our bellies filled, no time to rest and soon we were back on the track. Kings of the road though in a mini coach this time, nobody dares to T-Bone us with "SEKOLAH" largely written on its sides.

30 mins one the road and arrive in our den.

After a quick shower, we jumped into the Jacuzzi. P.S. Some hunk-will-be tried to work out. Guess who?

Photobucket

Posing with cheeky grins cos we all had evil thoughts of who to throw in the freezing pool

Donned with white robes, it was the end of our Jacuzzi seesion. Next up, massage-ci.

PARTY TIME!
The boys chilled the night away at the UV Room. The atmosphere was awesome and Brother GrimReaper stole the limelight from the live band no matter how hard they rocked! HaHa! The Nasi Padang was delicious but I doubt anybody knew what they were eating in the dark. So let there be "flash" light! I take photos for good reason, part of my QC job! HeHe!

Day 2

American breakfast in the hotel "restoran" but no bacon for simple reason.

After brekky we gathered back in the room. Chef and Vice wrapped up 2008 with a debrief and outlook for 2009. "Street Coyotes Of The Year" (SCOTY) was awarded to none other than...*drum roll...* COOPER! For his dedication and contributions to SCMC.

Shopping time split the gang into "the married" and "the strong and naughty". Without saying, "the married headed to shop at the departmental stores while the strong and naughty *err humm* roamed the mall, aimlessly. Althought every shop on their respective level sells almost the same stuff but we couldn't resist but to stop at every one.

After shopping, some had Ayam Panyet and Mee Soto which was top notch! Way tastier than the Malaysian version

*No pics*

Was tempted to try those road side push cart for maximum authenticity and risking maximum tummy damage too. Dinner at the proper Nasi Padang restoran was also very good, no news of stomache is good news.

As we had to wait (hours) for the ferry, we had a few rounds of pool. All looks damn pro, can play or not its up to your imagination :)

Why is he hitting black potting cue ball???

We took the last ferry home and never will anyone believe this other than the experienced. The captain got pulled over by the Singapore Coast Guard in the middle of the sea! WTF! Forgot to put cashcard thru ERP? Actually I heard the lady officer scolded the captain "I don't expect your passengers to be standing throughout the entire ride!"

Special thanks to Chuan for joining us in this celebration.

Though there were no bikes or babes on this trip, the boys thoroughly enjoyed it. Time flies when we are happy and not to worry because the number of years we live are the number of years we will party!
